Food Donation Drive - March 2011

Dear Friends and Supporters of Noah's Ark,

After last year's successful donation drives, Noah's Ark CARES is privileged to partner with Pets' Station once again for our food donation drive. The first drive kicks off today, 01 March and ends on 31 March 2011. We are extremely happy and grateful for their continuous support.

Noah's Ark animals definitely have something to rejoice about as more yummy food coming their way! The food runs out faster than you can imagine at the sanctuary.

For this drive, Pets' Station is offering a total of 9 items from their SportMix and Feline Gourmet (canned food) range that supporters can choose to purchase during this period. They are:

• Sportmix Ori Cat food 33lbs - S$49.00

• Sportmix High Energy mini chunks 44lbs - S$55.00

• Sportmix Dog Hi-Pro 44lbs - $50.00

• Feline Gourmet (5 different flavors - canned food) - $ 38.40 (per ctn of 24 cans)

For every item purchased, Pets' Station will be donating the same item to Noah's Ark, one-for-one. More details can be found at their website at http://www.petsstation.com.

To make your food donation, there are 2 ways you can do it.

2. You would have to go to any of their nine outlets which are located at Causeway Point, Compass Point, Frankel Avenue, Holland Village, Jurong West, Tampines Central 1, Tiong Bahru, Serangoon Gardens and Serangoon North Ave.

The donated food will be stored at Pets Stations' warehouse and our volunteers will arrange to collect the food items and bring them to Noah's Ark.

Thank you Addiction for your generosity and for visiting us at our Sanctuary!

Oh boy oh boy… its paw licking good… When is my next meal?

A big thank you to everyone!

The Fish4Dogs food donation drive was a success! The dogs at Noah’s Ark are barking in delight and extremely happy to have a change of food to their regular menu. Each year, Noah’s Ark continues to advance in its mission to help the creatures of this world that are unable to fend for themselves.

First, we would like to extend a heart-felt Thank You to Pet Lovers Centre for making this food donation drive so successful. Thank you for offsetting the cost in order to encourage the public to buy whilst donating the difference to us. This has helped us offset the cost of food we usually pay for at the sanctuary and we are extremely grateful for your thoughtfulness in picking us as a beneficiary.

Next, a big thank you to our dear friends and supporters who made a trip down to the pet shop to place orders for our dogs of Noah's Ark. Throughout the years, you've been with us every step of the way, always ensuring our sanctuary keeps running through your various donations and assistance rendered. As always, your contributions are greatly appreciated.

Leo enjoying his special treat of Fish4Dogs.

Obviously, Leo just couldn't get enough of it! Noah's Ark is unable to buy these premium brands for our dogs, thus these are indeed once in a lifetime treats for the dogs at the Sanctuary.

Deepa asked if you could donate more dog food to her friends at Noah's Ark? Check out the right hand column "Help Feed Our Animals" we have another ongoing food donation drive kindly offered by Reinbiotech.

PLC Food Donation Drive - 2nd weekend!

Dog Food Donation Drive
with Pet Lovers Centre
From 19 December 2009 to 3 January 2010

Christmas is just round the corner and each and every dog would wish and long for their own loving family and home. However, sadly many are not that lucky but for a few luckier ones they call our sanctuary, Noah’s Ark, their forever home. We are very thankful that they are so many Doggy Parents who have taken upon themselves to help support these dogs at the sanctuary.

In conjunction with Noah’s Ark CARES, Pet Lovers Centre has embarked on a Dog Food Donation Drive. This is their special Christmas gift to our residents at Noah’s Ark sanctuary.

For every bag of Fish4Dogs Finest Salmon Complete (1.5kg) (UP: $37) by you for the animals at the Sanctuary, Pet Lovers Centre will contribute $22 for every bag, so that your nett price is only $15!!! It is a steal at these prices and hope that you will help make many of our animals’ Christmas wish come true during our festive period.

When you make your purchase, your duplicate receipt will be stapled on the packets of food, which in turn will state the number of packets they have purchased. Volunteers will then collect the food from the outlets every week and bring them into our Sanctuary in Johor Bahru for the dogs there.

Currently, we received about 100 bags of Fish4Dogs (from last weekend's donation drive) and we thank everyone for taking the time and making the effort to come down to buy/donate. Please do help buy as much as you can for the doggies at Noah’s Ark. Don’t forget to tell your friends and get them to help too!

Note that you may purchase Fish4Dogs at any of the Pet Lovers Centre. For a list of their retail outlets, please visit http://www.petloverscentre.com/location.asp or call 1800-PETFOOD (1800-7383663)

If you have not yet purchased the 2010 Noah’s Ark Calendars we urge you to consider buying them now. Our volunteers will be at Pet Lovers Centre East Point Mall with our calendars. So please mark down on your calendars the following dates:

Date: Sat, 2 Jan & Sun, 3 Jan

Time: 11.30am to 4pm

Venue: Pet Lovers Centre @ East Point Mall (3 Simei Street 6 #01-06)

We hope to see you all there !!

Thank You once again for your continued support of Noah’s Ark and we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Best wishes,
Mr Zeus
