The Adoption of Lucky Angel by her Fosterer!

“Angel” – the first thing that comes to my mind is not the pretty little fairy pictured in fairy tales or in the eyes of children, but the image of a stone fish. That is the only thing that can be used to describe how we felt when we first saw her – lonely, aloof, listless and staring blankly into space.

Before you read further, please visit the links below for a recap on Angel's story: http://noahsarkcares.blogspot.com/2009/04/angel.html and http://noahsarkcares.blogspot.com/2009/04/updates-lucky-angel.html to see what a long way she has come.

Many will say that Angel has the luck of one in a million dogs. On the practical side, who will ever want to adopt such a dog? Today, her mange condition is definitely much better with tender loving care from Catherine and family and their domestic helper Pearlita who is Lucky Angel’s main caregiver, but her skin condition is not what many can and will accept. Medical costs aside, she certainly does not look as cute or normal as the thousands of strays out there on the streets with no place to call home. Currently, Lucky Angel still has some bald patches on her, but having come so far is already a great and unimaginable achievement. Take a look at the photos and judge for yourself!

This is how Angel looks like today..

Her eyes are full of life and happiness...as compared to when she was first rescued

Lucky Angel enjoying life

Initially, we were all ready to send her to Noah’s Ark when she was in better shape and health. Never did we ever think that someone would adopt her! During the fostering period however, Catherine and family had grown so attached to her that they eventually decided to adopt her!

The care and concern of Catherine and her family has brought out a different Angel you see today!

This act of unselfishness by Catherine and her family has touched many hearts. Lucky Angel might not have all her fur grown properly back, but this does not bother Catherine at all. We are assured that she will take good care of Lucky Angel, providing a place, her home and her heart - for life.

Lucky Angel is now living in town, yes the central of Singapore, and goes for 6 walks every day! We are sure that Catherine and family love her very much, and are prepared to settle down with her and start a new chapter of life together!

Before and After. See the vast difference!

We can never thank Catherine enough for her acceptance of Lucky Angel – an imperfect looking dog who turned out to be a perfect companion in her eyes. If only Lucky Angel could speak and tell Catherine just what difficulties she has been through – how it was like literally from hell to heaven. Without a doubt, we are sure Catherine can see all these gratitude in Lucky Angel’s eyes.
